Howard Elite Basketball Academy has never published its own terms of use. The only terms that currently exist anywhere are Teachable’s platform boilerplate for the course school — which covers the platform, not the academy or the gym.
Everything below is a drafting template. It is not binding until Coach Howard completes the marked items and approves it.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms would be between you and Howard Elite Basketball Academy, operating from Industry Hoops, 2288 East Main Street, Snellville, Georgia 30078, United States.
The registered legal entity name and its state of formation are to be confirmed.
2. Domains you should trust
The academy’s genuine online properties are its Teachable school at
howard-elite-basketball.teachable.com, its YouTube channel @HowardEliteBasketball, and
its Instagram, X and Threads accounts under @hebasketball.
⚠ hebasketball.org is no longer the academy’s.
That domain lapsed and was re-registered by an unrelated third party on 30 July 2026. It now redirects to an overseas gambling site. The academy has no connection to, and accepts no responsibility for, anything hosted there. Any content, offer, payment request or communication originating from that address is not the academy’s.
3. Using this website
This site is informational. It does not take bookings, does not take payments, and does not create an account for you. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance.
Text, images and branding on this site belong to the academy or to Coach Howard. Do not reuse them commercially without written permission.
4. Accuracy, and how unknowns are marked
Parts of this site are reconstructed from the academy’s own published material after its previous website was lost. Anything that could not be confirmed is marked visibly on the page as unconfirmed.
No price is stated anywhere on this site, because the academy has not published any. Session times shown on the facility page are the last published, not a guarantee of current operation.
5. Training and use of the facility
Basketball is a contact sport carrying a real risk of injury. Participation is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.
- Participants must follow coaching staff instructions and facility rules at all times.
- Appropriate footwear and clothing are required on court.
- The academy may refuse or end participation for unsafe or disruptive conduct.
- A signed waiver and medical form are required / not required — to be confirmed.
6. Minors
The academy works primarily with youth players, including children as young as four. A parent or legal guardian must arrange and consent to any minor’s participation.
Supervision, drop-off and collection arrangements are to be set. Photography and video of minors is governed by consent process to be set — see the privacy policy.
7. The online course
Basketball 101 is hosted and sold by Teachable, under Teachable’s Terms of Use. Course access is personal to the purchaser. Downloading, re-uploading, sharing or reselling the content is not permitted.
The course is instructional guidance, not a guarantee of any athletic outcome.
8. Payments
Payment methods, deposits and instalment options for in-gym services are to be set. See the refund and cancellation drafts.
9. Health
Nothing published by the academy is medical advice. Anyone with a health condition, or returning from injury, should clear participation with a physician first.
10. Limitation of liability
The academy’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by Georgia law. Specific limitation clause and cap to be drafted and reviewed by a Georgia attorney — this template is deliberately not attempting it.
11. Governing law
These terms would be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, with disputes handled in venue to be confirmed.
12. Changes
Once in force, these terms may be updated, with the effective date shown at the top of this page.

14. Approval status
Not in force. Complete the marked items, have section 10 reviewed by a Georgia attorney, and approve before publishing.
